The boys and girls varsity basketball games against Milton on Saturday, February 6 will be streamed live and on demand at SportzCast by Video4Ever.

Georgia Public Broadcasting will be streaming the games of the MLK Tribute to a King Holiday Hardwood Classic live. The games will also be available on demand after the conclusion of the games.  Visit www.gpb.org/basketball for more information.

Due to the inclement weather on Friday, Jan 8, the varsity games scheduled at Milton were postponed.  The games will be made up on Saturday, February 6 beginning with the girls game at 6:00pm followed by the boys game at 7:30pm.

The varsity boys defeat St. John's College High School from the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference to win the Roundball Classic in Charleston, SC.  Vincent Bailey was named to the All-Tournament Team and Devonta White was named tournament MVP.

On Monday, January 18, Centennial Basketball will host the 3rd annual MLK Tribute to a King Holiday Hardwood Classic.  The event schedule is as follows:

Advance Tickets Are Being Sold for the Varsity Boys Basketball Season Opener

The Knights face the #3 Westlake Lions on Saturday, November 21 at 6:30pm in the Elite 8 Thanksgiving Hardwood Classic at Georgia State University. Tickets are $12 each and are good for the entire day. Advance tickets can be purchased in Centennial's main office for $10.  We hope to have a great crowd, so come out and support the team and give us the homecourt advantage on a neutral court.  The tournament schedule includes this lineup of region 6 favorites:

4:30pm   Creekside vs. #8 Walton

6:30pm   #3 Westlake vs. #6 Centennial

8:30pm   #1 Miller Grove vs. #2 Milton

Basketball tryouts will be held for the varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen teams October 26-28, 2009 in the main gym.  Boys tryouts will be held from 4-6pm, followed by the girls tryouts from 6-8pm.  Each player trying out must have a current physical in order to participate.

The varsity boys schedule has been released.  Centennial will once again play a national schedule, coming off their first season to be ranked nationally, #22, by ESPN Rise. The Knights will travel to Charlotte, Charleston, and Dayton for tournaments.  They open against McEachern on Nov 21 at Ga State.   Other highlights:  they play Dec 12 at the GAC Showcase and twice at Norcross for the Bring Your A Game to "A" and Marriott Invitationals.  The rest of the schedule and season preview can be seen here.
