in order to keep up with the Knights during the 2007-08 season.

Congratulations to Coach Whitehart on his 50th career win (and that's in
only two seasons!) Way to go, Coach Whitehart!!!
Tournament
season continues! The Varsity Boys have advanced to the Sweet
Sixteen (2nd round of the state tournament) and will meet Norcross on
Tuesday, February 26 at 7pm at Norcross. Doors will open at
6pm. Come out and support your Knights by wearing all black!

The JV boys team
won the North Fulton JV Championship at Northview High School! Way
to go JV! The JV girls team lost in the first round in the North
Fulton JV Championship. They will play for 3rd place on Friday, Feb
8 at 6pm at Northview High School.

The Varsity Boys take 3rd
place in the T-Mobile Invitational at the University of New Mexico in
Albuquerque after defeating the La Cueva Bears (NM).

The Varsity Boys win the
Classic I championship at the Chick-fil-A Classic in Columbia, SC hosted
by Richland Northeast High School.

Congratulations to the Varsity
Girls team for their 3rd place finish in the Pope Thanksgiving Tournament.
They beat Chestatee in the final game, 64-49, to earn their 3rd place
spot. Junior Danielle Pasquerello was named to the All-Tournament
team.

The regular
season opens on Saturday, November 16 with the Varsity Girls playing in
the Pope Thanksgiving tournament at 1:30pm. They take on the South
Cobb Lady Eagles at Pope High School. Action here at home includes
the JV and Varsity Boys taking on Whitefield Academy.

The fifth annual
Midnight Madness will be held on Saturday, November 10 in the Roundtable
(Centennial's main gym) from 7-9 pm. You'll get to meet the 2007-08
Knights and Lady Knights, show your skills and try for some prize money in
the three-point and half-court contests, practice cheering on the varsity
boys as they compete against each other for the dunk title, see some fun
performances by the cheerleaders and the dance team, and cheer on some of
your favorite faculty members as they scrimmage against members of the
varsity girls and boys teams. What a great way to get fired up for
the upcoming season!!!
